From the small town of Napier, New Zealand, the twenty-one-year-old singer-songwriter Iris is traveling a long way.

After winning the New Zealand Peace Song Competition and performing at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, a life-changing event, she refused to work with major record label Universal Music New Zealand, determined to start an independent career in the other side of the world: Los Angeles.
