Well, Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa men have named you You're so like a lady with a mystic smile Is it only 'cause you're lonely they have named you For that Mona Lisa strangeness in your smile Well, is your smile to tempt a lover, Mona Lisa Or is this the way to hide your broken heart? Many dreams have been brought to your doorstep They just lie there, and they die there Are you warm, are you real, Mona Lisa Or just a cold and lonely, lovely work of art? Well, in a villa, in a little old Italian town There lives a girl whose beauty shames the rogue And he yearned to love her but their hopes all tumbled down What does she want, I guess nobody knows Yes, is your smile to tempt a lover, Mona Lisa Or is this the way to hide your broken heart? Are you warm, are you real, Mona Lisa Or just a cold and lonely, lovely work of art? Or just a cold and lonely, lovely work of art? Or just a cold and lonely, lovely work of art? Thank you very much. That was a song made famous by the (Tapes?) Conway Twitty in the 1950s. And, um, what we propose to do here tonight is a combination of songs of mine from the Sixties and songs of other people's from the Fifties. And the trick is with wearing a suit like this is, um, is the same trick as living in America today. Which is how do you come to terms with wealth and such in a world so filled with troubles. Can you still have a sense of responsibility? STRIP! No, no, I could never strip, for that would be cheap. I prefer to maintain my dignity as an American citizen. I will never strip. So I will now try to wear this gold suit and sing a song of significance and try to have, we'll all come to terms with responsibility.
