You may not know them now but you’re about to get familiar with Australasia’s Gated Community and their new song “Lay Low and Snitch”

Consisting of Melbourne, Australia’s Billy Reeves (found on the hook of this song) and Auckland, New Zealand’s Jordan Lindsay (found on the second verse)
Gated Community go full throttle into witty and hilarious territory on “Lay Low and Snitch”;

Right off the bat there is a more than obvious reference to New York’s 6ix9ine (AKA Tekashi 6ix9ine), the GUMMO rapper was very publicly involved in one of 2019’s biggest court cases with masses of hip-hop fans and rappers alike labelling 6ix9ine a “snitch” due to his multiple revealings to appease the justice system

Everything down do 6ix9ine’s rainbow grills are referenced in the song’s hook alone (being compared to Skittles in this case)
Even nodding to 6ix9ine having to “lay low” after getting out of prison
